Vinnie began playing guitar at age thirteen. He even kept a guitar back at base when he was in VietNam  to entertain his fellow soldiers. He played in many different bands in his hometown of Brooklyn New York, playing Rock, Blues , and some Surf music . After moving to the Adirondacks he played with others doing blues, country, and Bluegrass. In 1998 he formed the Deja' Blue blues band playing alongside, and opening for top recording acts like Susan Tedeschi, Suzanne Vega, Curtis Salgado, Big Jack Johnson and the Oilers, Luther Allison, and many, many, more,playing Guitar, and Slide Guitar.A chance encounter with a local Jazz guitarist got him interested in Jazz Guitar which became his passion.  Vinnie plays a custom Left Handed  Mark Campellone "Special".
